I'm new to the laptop Mac world and therefor new to the case world as well. I put on the case without watching the instructions, because instructions aren't necessary (lol). I was finding the case would not snap together. Well, with a little bit more effort and push on the snap areas it went on very easily! I love the color, the hard shell, how it covers all the right places, doesn't add the bulk or the weight. Looking forward to seeing how it goes in transport. Also, I have the keyboard cover on. It took just a second to get used to. Found the rubbery texture on my fingers easier to type but it definitely makes the light on the keyboard harder to see. Lastly, a bit concerned about the texture of the cover, the flat look and texture seems to easily show oils/grease. So far so good.

I wanted a clear case to provide some drop and scratch protection to my 2016 MacBook Pro, which is a lovely Space Grey that I didn't want to cover up completely. This was a relatively inexpensive option at £13.99. For the money, it does an OK job. It adds a little bulk, but very little weight, and to prevent nicks and dents to a £1400 laptop it's is a good compromise. What I don't like is that it isn't completely clear: it has a blue tinge to it. Also, the bottom half of the case lifts aways from the MacBook slightly, so as you handle the laptop it often feels as if the case is squeezing back into place. Finally, there's also nothing 'soft-touch' about this case: it's plain old hard plastic.

Having said all that, I still have it on my MacBook, and I don't have any dinks or scratches!
