My little girl turned 3 recently and on a whim, I decided her theme would be butterflies (she doesn't speak, or she would have chosen for herself). I bought these and they came just in time for me to make some cupcakes for her. You can slightly bend them in the middle to make the wings appear more natural. They are edible, however they are just rice paper and don't really have a taste. They are basically just like those "body of christ" circles you get during communion in a catholic church. Same thing but these are prettier. They served their purpose and made super cute cupcake centerpieces. I'd definitely them again. I have no complaints. Just don't go in expecting them to taste like candy. Just because they are edible does not mean they are super yummy. But I didn't buy them for the edibility of them. They are super pretty cake decor.
