About this product

Product Information

Don’t bother with replacing the complete sound system in your vehicle. Adding the LC2i to the mix jumpstarts the sound quality of your existing system. The LC2i is a two-channel processor that accepts signals up to 499 watts for each channel from existing factory installed systems or amplifiers. The LC2i converts signals from those old units into higher-quality signals and sends them on to your factory installed or aftermarket processors. The sound that was once small becomes huge. Adding the LC2i makes your old sound system sound new.

    Incredible device

I have always used cheap LOC's. I questioned the potential of my 12W7 using a cheap LOC as it's output seemed lacking in a ported custom built enclosure. Well, well. Let me tell you. The LC2i has awakened the beast! I am running a 1000 watt mono block amp and it absolutely slams! I have to keep the accubass and bass boost settings on the LC2i at the lowest setting, and the gain on my amp is barely above minimum and it downright slams. I have to credit this to the clean, high voltage output capabilities of this device. It was worth every penny hands down. Don't even consider a cheap LOC. The wiring to set it up is just like an amp..only smaller. I used 12ga cable for power and ground. Super easy setup too. *Note. If you tap into only a sub speaker level input, the GTO turn on feature won't ...

    AudioControl fail

Induces noise into the mids and highs when accubass is active. 18db rolloff at 30hz, making the low, low bass notes weak. Great for the average simple install. If you have anything with decent power, you'll want the JL Audio LOC-22 and a dsp. MUCH cleaner signal, true to the source. My highs sparkle like never before, no noise, no molested accubass "restoration". They are only popular because of very limited choices. JL Audio product is far superior if you want proper signal to large systems. As you can see in the pictures, the LOC -22 is installed, and it's doesn't need replacing sure to poor sound quality, unlike the AudioControl. Like I said, other far better options, accubass I'd overrated. Period.

  • So far so good!👍🏾

Just installed on a 2014 tundra crewmax. I tapped into the speaker wires under the driver and passenger side kick panels.. pink - /purple + (driver) and green + / blue - (passenger). Theres also diagrams online if you Google it. I just used t-tap connectors and so far so good. Sounds greats for stock deck, amp and two 12's. Haven't had it in long enough to give it a 5 rating.

  • Great product good value

Very nice product that was pretty easy to install directly from my factory amp. I didn't really need to use the accubass feature because my system was putting out adequate bass already but can still serve a purpose in the future on a different vehicle.

  • What I needed!

I added a subwoofer to my 2014 Audi A6, which has the stock Bose amp/speaker system. I tried 2 line converters, both seemingly powered that didn't work with the stock Bose system. After testing that everything was working fine, except for the line converters, I did some more forum searching and found that both of the line converters I selected were passive even though they were getting connected to the battery/ground, the power was only for the amp turn on lead. Fast forward to using this and upon hooking things up and turning it on, everything instantly worked. Not sure if it's because of the Bose impedance/amperage/etc. that caused the passive units not to work or what, but this unit isn't effected by it. Wish it would come with the bass control knob standard, as I want more ...
