    Great bargain on well-made older IDE hard drive

    I was looking through a pile of old computer equipment and came across my son's old HP DV1000 laptop with a dead hard drive. I looked on eBay and bought this Fujitsu 100GB drive to replace it. The Fujitsu installed easily and was instantly detected by the CMOS without any work. I reinstalled Window XP fairly quickly and now I have a fully functional laptop. I added an extra 1GB of RAM, a wireless mouse and now this old system works as well as one of the new Windows 7 laptops. This drive is fairly quiet and seems quicker than the old hard drive. If you look around on eBay you will find that used Fujitsu drives are often a bargain. And my experience is that they have long lives and work well. Not a bad dead for around $40.

    Fujitsu 100 GB MHV2100AH hard disc resurrected my old Laptop Toshiba M18

    I used the Fujitsu 100 GB MHV2100AH hard disc together with 2 new 1GB PC2100 DDR SODIMM memories to renovate my old Toshiba M18 Laptop. After more than one month of daily use the Fujitsu 100 GB MHV2100AH hard disc gives me 100% satisfaction. To double-check the quality of the hard disc, I submitted it in the meantime to a Deep Error scan by "HD Tune" and it showed NO DEFECT. In summary:I am fully satisfied SJS76890

    Fabulous product - very pleased!!

    Great product - I'm very pleased it has fixed my old laptop computer that has been out of action for years due to limited hard drive space. Simple to install and had my computer up and running in no time at all.

    So far so good.

    Well, I don't love it or hate it, I just needed this exact hard drive for my Thinkpad T43 and I was lucky to find it. But with all HDs especially those purchased on ebay, it is a waiting and finger crossing game, so like the title says....So far so good.
