    Easy to use and affordable but is it accurate?

    The Helect Infrared Thermometer does exactly what I need it to do, compare temperatures from one cylinder to another cylinder on my BMW Boxer-engine motorcycle. That said, I've used it to check temperatures on other surfaces and, well, let's say I'm skeptical as to the accuracy of the readings. I am a bit surprised that there isn't a way to calibrate this thermometer or to verify its accuracy but, like I wrote earlier, it suits my needs just fine.

    Works well, quick ship, packed well. but....

    Love it. It does what it should. A couple issues I wish were fixed in design: if you put it on F instead of C, it resets to C when you turn it off. Also, worst of all, there is no way to turn off the beep sound when you take a reading. But it works quickly, accurately, and effortlessly.

    I would buy this again, love it.

    It works as well as I had hoped. It is a new toy for the garage, I find myself using it all the time. It is like Christmas morning every time I see it on the bench, just have to check about 100 temps here, there, everywhere.
