this appears to be a very good and high quality product. the packaging was very good preventing any contamination. the fit was perfect. it locked in to our fridge water supply as good as the OEM I've used. I ran the water until clear as directed. the water and ice are clear and free of any sediment or odors.

Made in China - not what I was expecting
Not what I expected. I did a lot of research on filters. Making sure it has has the NSF ratings of 42, 53. If it doesn't don't buy it. A 58 rating removes lead which is not an issue with me. Everything I found in my research lead me to believe these were made in USA. They are made in China so like many things from there they are suspect. Don't waste your money on the name brands, e.g., Kitchenaide, Whirlpool, GE, etc. selling for $40+ each but do try to buy made in USA.Not what I expected. I did a lot of research on filters.
