    Nice router, but read the latest firmware release notes.

    It's great that you can load balance wifi traffic. However I was disappointed that wds was stripped out of the software. Also the media server dnla software was also stripped out. These options were the reason I bought this product.

    Original is quicker

    Having a large home & vacation cabin I have all three X6 series routers. R7900P R8000 R8000P. On centurylink gigabit service to my surprise the original AC3200 R8000 has the highest Ethernet throughput numbers by a considerable figure and even the WiFi is faster. Not what I expected! Non of the three have performed poorly or been unreliable, quite the opposite all have been totally stable. All have to date firmware and tested on exact same gigabit service configured the same. Also, in my case the mu-mimo is not a factor because it only comes into play if the devices using the network are all mu-mimo enabled. In summation don’t hesitate at all getting any one of the three but I’d look for the best deal on the original X6 R8000 AC3200 As a owner of all three I have no interest in promoting ...
