About the Brand
Dana is a perfumery house founded in 1932 in Barcelona, Spain by the lawyer Javier Serra. The company headquarters was relocated to Paris and due to the German occupation of France during the World War II, finally settled in the United States. Dana launched series of notable classic fragrances between the 30’s and 50’s. The company's first perfume - Tabu, was created by the famous perfumer Jean Carles, who was influenced by the oriental scents and aromas. Nowadays Dana continues creating series of successful fragrances for the mass market and introduces updated versions of old adored perfumes as well.

    The fragrance is different.from years earlier.

    I bought it based on the fragrance as I remembered it. This one I just purchased is too strong and in my opinion is overpowering in a negative sense. Based on how I feel about it I really am not going to put it on. In other words it was a waste of money.

    Long Use

    I've used Canoe since my early 20's, actually my late mother was the one that introduced me to Canoe as a Birthday gift, and most times all the birthdays I had since her demise. This recent purchase was to her memory as I know if she were still walking this earth I would have a countless supply of Canoe. Thanks Mom...

    Canoe Cologne

    It actually not Cologne but "eau de toilette" which explains why it's not long lasting; however, the bottle is hugh. good value for the money. Canoe has been my favorite "cologne" for over 50 years.
