As for timber rattler co, I would have like a better edge right out of the box but you get what you pay for and it makes for an opportunity to get better at putting an edge on a blade like this. Solid chunk of steel you can do a lot with, bang up, abuse and it should hurt the mind or wallet over.

Overall knife is worth the price.
Overall it's a nice big knife. Only one small defect noted. One of the Brass pins that hold the handles has a digit in it, but it won't effect the performance just the handle finish. Good Seller!

Well yes, it is a heavy duty knife for a rather cheap price ... but the thick blade is bent to the right and then to the left and is poorly machined unevenly. In fact, every aspect of the knife was very amateurishly filed and sanded by hand too much in some places and not enough in others. I would characterize this Pakistan knife as just 75% complete, in need of lots more finishing to be considered to have any "quality".Well yes, it is a heavy duty knife for a rather cheap price ... but the thick blade is bent to the right and then to the left and is poorly machined unevenly. Now that's a knife!
I was a bit shocked how large this knife was when I first pulled it out to the sheath. It is huge! Nearly ridiculously so. It is longer than my forearm measuring 11-1/4" straight down the blade, an amazing 2-1/4" across & 3/16" thick. It weighs out at was nearly 2lbs (1lb 14.45 oz). With a full tang, blood groove, a comfortable handle with a hook on the pommel to keep it firmly in your hand, this big boy should be enough to perform all the tasks required of a large knife (or perhaps a hatchet). The prints the TR65 steel from Pakistan on the base of the blade with Timber Rattler on the other side. The sheath is leather but has a painted foam spacer between the front and back. Certainly a cheap sheath and without a thong to hold the end to your leg it is essentially only good to store the ... They used a dark polish to fill in all the defects & pits along the handle where metal meets wood. Some of the polish got on the blade as well. I was easily able to buff those bits off. The edge was sharp but not razor. It took me little time to finish the edge. Not great finish work but for the price I can't complain. Bottom line: Good value for money.

This Knife Is Sick
Huge Blade Sturdy Handle!!! This is a big boy knife. Its thick and not to heavy its the size of my forearm and I'm 6'2 and thats just the blade! Very sharp sleek design i recommend this if you like big knifes.
