    deffinitly was the fix

    I replaced the prime ball twice, I just knew that was the problem, since every time I primed it with a shot of gas from the can, of a squirt of starter fluid it started with one pull. Well I just happend to be surfing Briggs parts when I read how this primer base is notorious for problems with war-page. Well I bought it, installed it, pumped the ball 3 times, and wallah 1 pull and it fired right up. mystery solved. Thanks to everyone that takes time to write good informative reviews .

    Faulty primer base

    It does not work. Used one off an old mower to fix the problem. Tried it on two other mowers, does not work. The primer bulb does not seal. Tried a different primer , would not work. Can't believe other people have not had the same problem.

    Perfect fit!

    This air filter base fit perfectly on the carburetor on my lawnmower. The quality of the replacement was better than the original. The old one was cracked where it primes the carburetor. The lawnmower now starts up a lot easier.

    Worked great
