Hands bobbin holder
Ordered these to try and organize my MANY spools of sewing thread. They work really well and I like having the thread and bobbin together instead of separate. With old style bobbin boxes I had a hard time distinguishing which bobbin matched each thread. No more. Now I know exactly which bobbin goes to each spool of thread. The only negative was that some of my spool holes were too small. When I inserted the handi bobbin holder I had to sort of squeeze it into the opening. Fortunately the plastic of the handi bobbin was thin/flexible enough for me to force it into compliance. Maybe it was made specifically that way?? I have been looking for a solution like these gadgets for years. Keeping track of the bobbin that matches a spool of thread isn't always simple. I use two sewing machines with different sized bobbins. I wind a bobbin for each machine and keep both attached to each end of the spool. The spool can be stored on the pegboard without a problem. And, neither bobbinator needs to be removed from the spool to sew, including the bobbin for the other machine. Best thing since sliced bread ! One size does not fit all
these fit ONLY standard spools. They do not fit the guttermann thread that I primarily use. However, I am able to use them on C&C and other squatty spools.
