A nice hard to find DVD/VHS Combo.
The product works well although I wish it had a DVD recorder. I still love my VHS player for everyday time switching and ad eliminating. I lament that DVD/VHS player recorders are getting so hard to find. This was a well priced find. Thanks.

To be honest I was somewhat skeptical. I am not always a big fan on buying high tech merchandise online. I was really apprehensive after I read the mixed reviews about the Toshiba VCR/DVD combo player. Some said, "Yes, we love it." Other said, "No, we hate it." Honestly right down the the middle for me. So, I bit the bullet and bought it. When it came I couldn't be happier with the way it looked. Stylish black with silver or chrome (look-alike) buttons. Fits very well with the look of my the rest of my entertainment center. So, far it has played exceptionally well. I cannot complain about it one bit. Very pleased with the operations of it. I have watched 2 entire TV series' on DVD and have not had a glitch one. I probably run it 6 hours or more a day. Trust me if it was going to "burn out" ... To be honest I was somewhat skeptical. Analog Broadcast Tuner - Requires Converter Box
has only an analog broadcast tuner and will require a converter box after February 17, 2009 to receive over-the-air broadcasts with an antenna because of the U.S.'s transition to digital broadcasting. Analog-only TVs should continue to work as before with cable and satellite TV services, gaming consoles, VCRs, DVD players, and similar products The unit itself worked fine and seems like a good value for the price. BUT. The remote control requires a full 5 seconds after you press a button before you can press that button again, or any other button. That's a long slow count of 5 in between button presses. The manual warns of a delay in the fine print, but 5 seconds for each button press? there are little scratches on the vcr player but that doesnt mean it deserves less stars. The fact that it works is what is important to me. my vhs tapes play perfectly. I am very happy with this product! Do recommend buying again from this user.

In looking for a perfect dvd/vhs combo I came accross with this item for my kids. Kids use and abuse items overtime and this still works great after extensive use. I came accross with the same item @ ebay for my parents gift and they loved it and I just had to get it since my experience in buying my kids dvd/vhs combo has been exceptional. Good buy
