I got the lens through the mail and while it was not packed in a box, the item was covered in a lot of bubble wrap. The lens is in mint condition, and my testing so far shows it is very sharp. The item came fairly quickly, and the seller was willing to give a little on the price, which helped me since i am retired and my income is a lot less than when working full time. I would use this seller again!
