The KEM-850 arrived and it indeed works but the Spindle motor is slightly off kilter so discs scratch against the plastic housing surrounding the laser instead of working as normal. I had to transplant the spindle motor from my old KEM-850 then it worked perfectly. Blu-ray, DVD’s and CDs read correctly including dual layer discs which didn’t work before the swap.
