    Not the best, but justifies its price

    Initial setup was a pain. Its very loud and has a tendency to work or not work you never know what is thinking. Once its setup up its very easy to use. Of course that should be expected since its a DVD player. As for the good value part; that's debatable. Yes its inexpensive. Yes it does the job. No its not the best DVD drive out there or even close. However. if you can handle a little startup pain and don't want to spend a lot of money then this is just fine. For how little I use it I'm happy with mine.

    I thought it would be better.

    Please don't get it wrong, the player works well... but we had to purchase an app. We went to plug the player up to the T.V. and the cord is extremely short and something wasn't quite working the way we would have hoped for. Ended up hooking it up to the physical laptop and it works perfectly. Opens well and easily enough, have had no other issues.

    Great item. Plugged into usb port. It lit up put a cd in to try. Burned perfectly. Is a gift. But I know it works. So hope they like it
