    Compelling story, excellent writer

    Bryce Courtney is an excellent author. This book in particular, based on the history of Africa, is an compelling story woven around history. I highly recommend this book for people who like to study history.

    Power of One

    My husband and I loved the book as we read it years ago. I sent a copy of the Power of One to friends and know they will enjoy it as well. The sequel is Tandia which is excellent as well. Bryce Courtney is one great author who captivates your attention and makes you feel as though you are a part of the book.

    Bryce was among my three favorite novelists.

    Bryce Courtenay was one of my favorite authors. He was a modern Charles Dickens. I already own a book with his signature. Owning the first edition of his first book means a lot to me.
