    Works as designed

    This is old technology so it is a bit award to use. The transmitter is very large too. I only bought it because I paid a buck for the speaker at a garage sale and had no transmitter. The really nice thing is the transmitter sends out the two channels and the speakers have a switch that you can select L, R, or both channels, therefore it is one of the few speaker sets that, if you have two speakers you can use in stereo. The speakers have ni-cad rechargeable batteries so they are portable and the speakers are also designed for out doors so if they get caught in the rain, they should be okey. The switch and charging plug are facing down. The charger input also has a plug to keep it weather tight.

    AW811 produce low quality of sound.

    Very disappointed in the quality of sound produced by AW811. While the AW877 produces quality sounds. Too bad Acoustic Research stopped making the AW877.
