I shipped my CPU out to get it delidded and I am honestly glad I pulled the trigger. I was idling at 60C at 4.2Ghz but now I'm able to run at 4.8Ghz stable with temps in the 40Cs at idle. Under load it sits around 90C but that's more of a limitation of my current cooling solution. Overall, major improvement on my CPU. If you are considering delidding your CPU, I honestly recommend you sending your CPU out to this seller. He is very helpful and informative of the whole process.
