Like it overall.
My previous magnifying light died. I like the "telescoping" part of the light better on my old light but this one works fine though having just received it don't know how the "joints" will hold up over time. I looked at some other similar smaller lights with less LEDs as I wanted something portable but some users complained the light was not bright enough. This one is great with 8 LEDs and 2 light levels. There is also a ribbon in the battery compartment to help you remove the 3 AAA batteries it requires which I feel is a nice touch. I also like it uses batteries you can purchase easily. There is also an option of using a USB power cord instead of batteries. I plugged it into my laptop and worked just fine which means you can use it as a mini lamp. The cord is about 2.25 feet long. Not ... My previous magnifying light died. It also comes with a small microfiber cloth to keep it clean. I wanted something a bit smaller but this one can still fit in my purse and I'm happy with it overall especially at the price point I purchased it at which was under $9 at the writing of this review. My only con is I wished it came with a pouch or cover to protect it while not in use or being transported. My old light had a cover I could fold over the magnifying lens but it also cost more so it's a trade-off. Also understand that because of the curvature of the glass the farther away the object is you are magnifying the more distortion you will get around the edges but for most things for me it hasn't been a problem.

Best magnifier for the money.
I bought the magnifier because I make bracelets using 4mm beads. I was having trouble finding the hole to put the wire thru so I got this magnifier. It makes a world of difference. What was difficult to see before is now crystal clear. I can use the built-in lights when the light in the room is dim. It takes 3 AAA batteries. Or I can plug it into my computer or any USB outlet and save on the batteries. Excellent product
Excellent product. This is a very useful and the 8 LEDs is very helpful. I used this in changing my watch capacitor which required me to deal with very tiny screws I would never be able to do it without this. The stand of course was very helpful in this.
