When in map mode tap the top bar area and it goes into Current Location mode Has a MPH readout, A Compass,Updates your location by street and streets ahead & Behind. Give Lat:. & Long:. Shows sea level height. Gives EXACT SATELLITE time and Date. Much easier to use for MPH if you have near a front window. That was no eyes off the road ! Plus, its SATELLITE Accurate. 5 Stars.

    Ok Item

    Good little unit but no Canadian content.everything works as expected. Display is OK, All features work as expected, It is easy to use so I would have to say the overall value is worth the price I paid for it.

    Seek and you'll recieve

    I lost my newer GPS and needed a new one but I couldn't afford one. So the next best thing and picked up this one. Its a older unit and it works fine. I don't love it but I'll use it till I get a newer one and the only thing I don't like is it's slower and does not have all the features od the new ones but it's name says it all.

    magellan roadmate 2000

    have several of these. maps are about 2004 but perfectly fine except on very rare occasions. since you can find them for about $30 on ebay they are a great deal at that price. one consistent problem with all of them is that you will need to reset them from time to time. reset is not same as turning off and on. overall recommend for the price.
