I have a DeWalt buffer and this Makita makes all the difference. The slow start is fantastic and the wrap around handle makes it easy to hold in those uncomfortable buffing areas. Not to mention the customer service is fantastic. The buffer was in perfect condition however the backing pad was slightly warped. I contacted customer service and they got back in touch with me same day on a Saturday and had me a new backing pad the following Monday. Awesome!!!! You Can't go wrong here you guys!!

I use this to polish stone, glass and fiberglass. Powerful, variable speed and I LOVE the rubber nose that keeps it from scratching surfaces when I rest it. This is a professional tool. Get one and don't chince out on a knockoff!
