Product does exactly what it should at minimal cost. However, the build quality isn't top-notch (what should one expect for less than $12?). The first time I unplugged the adapter from my Western Digital 3.5" SATA drive, the enclosure which encases the circuit board self-opened. I had to put it back together and "squeeze" the two halves shut. More important, however, is the fact that the product read all of my 3.5" SATA drives without issue. I don't regret my purchase.

I bought this incredible adapter for one reason and it served me for another even better: According to the description it is only used on 2.5 and 3.5 hard drives, but to my surprise I put it on an internal DVD/RW that I had saved and next to it wonderful adapter now I have a dvd reader and External CD/DVD burner and it works 100%, I mean it works for what it says in the description and also to convert it into an External CD/DVD burner, Thank you excellent purchase, It also arrived quickly.
