    Not bad for the money

    I have the amp connected to a JVC BT-1 head unit(200W peak, 80W rms)a pair of SONY XS-V5742A 6"x8"s and a pair of MTX 6802 6"X8"s. Actual sound quality I believe is about the same as the amp in the JVC (which is very good). If anything was lost by switching it was not much. The XM-554ZR is certainly loader than the JVC head unit. Highs hold well at higher volume, although bass response isn't as punchy as I thought it would be. THe MTX 6"x8"s are far better on bass then the sony xplods. All in all the system sounds pretty crisp, we do have an Clarion APX1300 amp(300W rms) and two MXT Road Thunder 12" subwoofers in a sealed box. The subs make up for the lack of solid bass. I am very happy considering I got the sony amp second hand for $50.

    Sony Xplod XM-554ZR Car Amp

    the amp is advertised as having for channels two of which can be bridged, making either 4 or 3 channel amp. once i got the amplifier i realised that you can actually bridge all 4 channels making a total of two powerful bridges, the only down side of that is front two channels don't have lowbypass filter. the amp looks like a child's toy and has too many smooth curves. sony guts make it a worthy machine to own. its powerful -and cheap because most people don't realize it got two bridges.

    Worth the price!

    I wanted a good amplifier for my '55 Chevy just to enhance the sound quality of the converted stock radio. I had the radio converted to AM/FM with a USB/MP3 ports that retains the stock look. There is not much to dislike about this amp. Easy to wire up and tune. For the price this amp is probably above average in function and quality and though it is no longer produced it is an voerall good value.

    everthing you need in Amps

    it produces massive strong sound when connected to the woofer. everything with this product is fine like new. the LPF (low pass filter) was the feature i wanted to have in this amplifier. I recommend this one to everybody. thank you

    Good product it has 4 channel and not to expensive

    I like the 4 channal and the sound I bought it becous I read lots of revews. Nice product not to expensive easy to instal whatmore can you ask
