A good starter machine for garment construction and mending, this sewing machine from Brother includes 25 built-in stitches. These range from zigzag to shell tuck to blind hem settings, and there's also an automatic four-step buttonhole function. In addition, a twin needle setting lets you sew a double line with two colors of thread for a smart decorative touch. The machine's design and features are straightforward and user-friendly, with some settings--stitch length and width--automatically set for simplified operation. It also sews in reverse and has dial-adjusted tension for tidy work.     Brother Sewing Machine

    I like this machine because it is easy to use. If your a beginner at sewing like I am it is great to use. It has a lot of features such as zigzag stitches, button holes, duel needles for double sewing. There are over 10 different design stitches. I started out easy by making some curtains for my bedroom. I then made a set for my granddaughters room. I made zigzags and straight hems. They came out really good. My granddaughter likes them. All and all I would say this machine can do just about everything. It came with alot of stuff including extra needles and thread. It is very light weight, has a handle and a light.     My wonderful gift to myself-Happy Happy Happy with choice!

    I have two very high end machines and wanted a basic machine for some of my sewing. Although I also have three other machines I bought off of E-Bay this summer this one caught my eye because of its looks. (Did I Need It, NO, did I want it, Yes,So I treated myself to it.) Runs like a charm, easy to use and I love the blue color. Not a good reason to buy it but if you can,t be good to yourself who can you be good to. Am well pleased with it. Thanks!!!

    Great machine for a beginning sewer.

    I am liking the machine very much. Actually I bought it to give to a student of mine, but I am using it to try out and make sure it is okay and she will like it. The only thing I dislike about it is that there is no built in thread cutter on it. So I bought a pair of thread snipers to give to her. It does seem to need oil on a regular basis, but after all, it is a mechanical machine, not electronic, so oil it!

    Great Machine and Seller was great too!

    This is my first sewing machine so I didn't want to spend a lot of money not knowing if I'd like sewing. I wanted it mostly for crafts however this machine is awesome and I've done so much more. Easy to use, many cool stiches and functions and the price was right...no it was GREAT. The seller was very prompts too.
