Affixing 5.25 speaker was a chore
Not sure how I was supposed to mount my 5.25 inch Pyle PLG54's on this adapter, none of the holes lined up and those that did were open slots, not very secure. Ended up using plastic ties and silicone sealant to affix the speaker. Would be nice if some of these kits came with fasteners also, always hunting for the right sizes on these installs. Mounting holes to vehicle were perfect, but once again could have used some fasteners that cost virtually nothing out of China these days.Not sure how I was supposed to mount my 5.25 inch Pyle PLG54's on this adapter, none of the holes lined up and those that did were open slots, not very secure. Will not fit 6.5"speaker
I purchased these two go from 6 x 8 inch speakers to 6.5 inch speakers but a 6.5 inch speaker will not fit in the hole I have tried several different kinds of 6.5 inch speakers and they are just too big these are for 5 inch speakers only do not purchase this product if you're trying to go from 6 x 8 to 6.5 unless a Dremel tool is used to cut the hole out bigger

6.5" Speakers did not line up with the Adapter
This adapter is pretty much useless, it is much simpler just to drill new holes around the speaker hole of your door. Only one hole lined up and the adapter really was not even shaped correctly to adapt a 6.5" speaker to a 6x8" hole.
