Love the ability to adjust grind size and amount. Still playing with the settings to find the perfect settings but so far it is great and much quieter than other models I have owned. Have had other models (Cuisinart, Krups...) over the years but they do not compare to this. Like the fact that I can brew directly into portafilter for espresso or bin for drip coffee with easy grind selection.

This grinder does a great job of allowing the user to select grind size and delivering that desired degree of dimension from very fine to coarse. It is easy to use, makes less noise than my prior grinder and is well designed for cleaning. I tend not to fill the grinder to full capacity as I change the type of coffee I use frequently. Therefore, I batch grind only that amount I need daily: the grinder does not clog and empties the full amount place in the hopper/reservoir without agitating the unit as I needed to do with my old unit. Pleased.

This is my second Smart Grinder. The first lasted 2 years but was so much better than the others I've owned that I purchased another (motor drive broke).
