    Gretsch G2655 "Better than expected"

    I bought my Gretsch G2655 just to have an extra guitar to bang around, but when I took it out of the box to inspect it I checked mainly for loose screws, bad fret edges, a bent neck or intonation problems but I didn't find anything wrong with this guitar, it has a very solid feel and plays great. The pickups are very articulate, and have a nice full sound when you and some gain, the neck feels smooth and fast, with no jagged edges, the only thing I didn't like was the black plastic knobs, they make the guitar look cheap so I had some spare Gretsch knobs and pickup switch tips so once I added that now the guitar is perfect ( See picture).

    Excelent buy.

    Guitar was immaculate, unmarked, and in its original packaging. If it hadn't been described as used it could have been sold as new. It plays really well with good tone. I am delighted with this purchase.
