Great single cup brewing
I bought this coffee maker to replace my single cup maker. This particular one had all the options I was looking for, fresh grinding was my first priority. The hopper holds enough coffee for several single cup grinds. It also will brew a full pot and it stays hot for hours in the thermal pot that’s included. Highly recommend this maker. One negative I found: it comes with a gold filter basket for the grounds so you won’t need a paper filter. I found that when I used the filter the coffee had a distinct taste of medal and was very off putting, I now use just a paper filter and the coffee comes out tasting much better. Great idea but old school paper filter is better! I bought this coffee maker to replace my single cup maker. Ok, needs redesign
This machine needs redesign. It’s very temperamental. I don’t like the fact that it doesn’t have a warmer tray. You have to put hot water in the carafe before you make coffee every time or your coffee is lukewarm. The carafe is difficult to close. It also doesn’t regulate the strength like it should. My coffee at brew strength setting number one is same as coffee strength of number six.

Breville Grind Control Coffee Maker is easy to use. Allows the regulation of the grounds and controls the strength of the brew. The carafe is very effective in keeping the coffee warm for long periods. The only draw back is the need for cleaning. Though not a big problem, it will need cleaning of the grinder in particular and that is easily accomplished. The carafe is difficult to clean without a good brush. On the whole, this is a good serviceable coffee maker. This is our second one and would recommend it to anyone who desires to control the grinding and brewing of their coffee.Breville Grind Control Coffee Maker is easy to use. Excellent coffee you can personalize to taste and strength
We have been looking for a coffee maker that would freshly grind the beans, but be more than just an expresso machine at the high price. The Breville has been the perfect match. You can choose grind, strength and have the option of a carafe or individual cups with varying amounts for each. The Breville is exceptionally easy to use and the quality of construction and looks is tops. As with any filter machine you have to dump out the grounds, add water and occasionally clean the grinder. However, the extra effort is worth the taste of coffee to your specifications. The carafe also keeps the coffee hot for several hours which is a nice plus. We have now relegated our Keurig to the occasional use and will pay for the Breville in just a few months of not using the Keurig. Not to ... Great machine with awesome design
This coffee machine has a very clear and easy screen for the user to use. It tells me how much water I add and how strong the coffee I want. I checked online video to learn how to clean it and just to find out it was not difficult. I enjoy grinding and brewing my coffee every other days with this awesome machine.
