    Obsolete as a phone, an outstanding ebook reader!

    First, if you are thinking of buying this as a cell phone, don't! It is almost too old to work on the constantly updated cell networks. If the network this is compatible with is still operating, it won't be for long. That said, I bought this item (it is my second 7130e) strictly as an eBook reader. Using the Blackberry Desktop, and free Mobipocket ereader software, I am able to convert many ebook and document formats to use on the phone, then download them by USB cable to the phone. It doesn't have a micro SD slot, but the transfer is so easy with the USB cable it doesn't really need one. With 64meg of memory available, it will hold plenty of books, and you can swap in and out as needed. I do proofreading and editing for an old friend who writes Christian fiction and Science Fiction ...

    outdated operating system

    The phone was as new and functions perfect however there are some major problems with this model, all directly related to the outdated operating system. there are very fiew apps that can be downloaded for it. It is not recognized by ebay, paypal, facebook, or myspace. The worst problem that i have encountered is that the browser seems to be using a proxy server & you can not emagine the problems this causes with paypal, but i will tell you it took over 2 weeks to get paypal to remove the limitations on my account so I could use it again. Other than these problems the phone functions fine.

    Used Blackberry Phone

    The service was great, but I can't really do much with the phone because I don't have time to learn how, it is very old and not as user friendly as newer ones,and has no camera - my mistake, I didn't notice that. It was a replacement phone for a broken Envy2 which still somewhat works, so it's better than the old Blackberry. Maybe I'll get to it later. Good service from dealer.

    WAS VERY GOOD RIM PHONE

    I remember I got this phone, and was so excited because I was getting like a second smartphone, and it was a really big upgrade to me as the previous razr I owned (old school first gen Blk special ed.) started shutting off, and not turning on when needed, luckily Cingular came through for me and I was offered this. I really loved it and used it for web dialy. It always worked. I just decided to get something different.

    cricket blackberry phone

    the ringer is pretty quiet .. seems to work ok otherwise comes with a nice holster , haven't tried much of the functions , mainly using for phone and text . size is nice ..keys are a little weird , texting is an attention grabbing chore .
