Replaced woofers in in energy audesey a2+2
These speakers replaced the 5.5 inch speakers in some energy a2+2 bi polar speakers. This required slight modification of the cabinet since the original speakers were an inch smaller. There was just enough room width wise to get them to fit. I had to fill in some rounded corners with some .25 inch board to allow them to be flush as well. In the end this experiment turned out well beyond my expectations. The speakers have much more punch and sound better than the originals. I guess its not a fair comparison being they replaced smallers speakers. I have six other energy tower speakers , so if any of the woofers fail , these are going in!These speakers replaced the 5.5 inch speakers in some energy a2+2 bi polar speakers. Ok. I know what you're thinking. Pyle?? nah that's trash. But no, these are actually very good, clean sounding speakers. The midbass output is quite beautiful, the clarity of voice and guitar.. Just wonderful. A good drum hit can be felt in your chest if you have it set up properly. While I'm quite aware these are not the most fantastic speakers on the planet; for the price I paid I didn't even expect half of this. This is my second purchase of this model and I plan to buy 2 more sets in the future. P.S. Im not a crazy guy who's paid to make good reviews. Just an audio fanatic hoping more people will take care of their mids and highs instead of blaring bass so loud nothing else can be heard.Ok. I know what you're thinking. Pyle?? nah that's trash. Don't let the brand name fool you, there is Quality here! Installed these in my front door and it really made a difference. Sound is a tad better than most speakers you buy at a big box store

Amazing Speakers if you need 6.5" 8 Ohm drivers.
Honestly One on the best speaker I've used. Pyle audio is extremely under rated. I used these drivers to replace my Paradigm drives after the foam baffle turned to dust. After replacing them, the sound is cleaner than the original drivers. Really happy with these.
