    Wonderful audio deck.

    Pros - Great sound including spatial setup for the vehicle. HD radio is built in and works. As a decades long Alpine user, this is the best player that I have come across. Cons - victim of its own success. There are so many special functions and features, I had to break down and consult the user manual a few times.

    Strongly recommend over new models

    This Bluetooth CD player is the nicest deck I have ever bought and is by far easier to use than the older and even new models. Shop around and you can find them for around $225 new. Worth it. For that money there isn’t a better more capable deck. Voice calling, Bluetooth, has a Good tuner, Hd radio tuner as well, illumination options, works with multiple amps, and is crazy easy to use. I’d leave 20 stars if I could!!

    Incredible head unit

    I installed my Alpine CDE HD149BT into my 2001 Ford Lightning f150 on July 27, 2018. It was easy to install and easy to set up all the radios menu options. The Bluetooth music streaming and hands-free phone calls work flawlessly. My iPod functions perfectly. I also hooked up the auxiliary cable and it works great. It has a cd player too! I am running a JL audio DX 700 amplifier powering Infinity kappa component speakers and two 10 kappa subwoofers. This head unit plays loud and very clean. It has a 24 bit DAC that handles all the digital converting for musical play back. I love this head unit and recommend it highly if you love music and love to play it loud!
