  • "Crazy" .... says it all.

"Crazy" opens doors to reveal problems with treating the mentally disturbed (there are too many to list) by the legal system and the medical industries. The book is told by the father of an adult son with deeply disturbing mental problems and the hurdles he had to overcome. The book was recommended to me by a friend I met while we were serving on a nonprofit board of a detox facility. He read this book 10 years ago and made it a priority to open a facility here in Baton Rouge, which is now open and admitting those very people so misunderstood and mistreated by our existing systems for the mentally ill.

  • "Crazy" written by Pete Earley

I think this should be a required reading for all high school students. Mental health is a huge issue going unnoticed in America. And a lot goes on that we don't know about and there is a lot of information in this book that I think all Americans need to know and understand. I definitely recommend this book!

  • Crazy - A Page Turner

A fast-paced thrilling ride about a real-life "crazy" system. Who would think that such a non fiction page-turner could be written about our judicial system? Pete Earley is one of those individuals whose words can inspire real change, from real passion, from real people.
