The excellent BUSHNELL 3-9x40 is right up there with the bigger names, The prices will go up and your quality will ,well do what they do. Newer optics as time goes on they will be made as cheap as they can. The 2016 line of Bushnell scopes are a very good value. Try any of the 3 most popular the 3-9x40 the 3-12x40, and the excellent 4.5-18x40 (MSRP around $250) whether your application is a .22 cal up to a .308 you will find excellent clarity, lighting, easy to adjust your left to right or right to left and up and down turrets. An excellent investment even if you don't need it right now. any optics built today are like anything else.. It is made rugged, very functional .laser your bore site in the evening . try to get it set at 100yds, realizing at times its hard to get the laser out to 100yds, but anyway if this can be accomplished you will be set to easy adjust out to 300yds easily with few adjustments. I personally use one on my Mosin-Nagant and am very happy with the performance. I just can not believe how the suppliers can make money on this excellent scope. You can spend hundreds of dollars on other name brand scopes and you will not see much difference in their quality versus this Bushnell Trophy scope. I have looked and tried other scopes that cost much more and there was little or no difference in clarity or warranty. I would highly recommend you shop and compare and save your hard earn money.
