Get a ready for craf twork
Cover screw holes will align with lens screw holes and STM motor, but some notches will not. You have to grind this cover off at least in one place to match lens notch to be able to close this cover tight over lens back, otherwise there will be about 1 mm gap. Even after this craft work the cover won't completely be intact with lens in one place. You will be able to mount lens to your camera though. The thing is that for such a high price everything MUST fit without a hassle or cost 10 times less.Cover screw holes will align with lens screw holes and STM motor, but some notches will not. Does not fit the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS STM lens
There are a total of 6 holes on this part. 4 larger holes and 2 smaller holes. The 2 small holes on this bayonet are misaligned (they're too far to the right) and so screws won't fit in them. This part is NOT compatible with the Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS STM lens. The only way to make the screws fit would be to drill into the 2 misaligned holes, but is it worth all the hassle and extra work? Not to me. Avoid this item.
