Best Fire TV Remote Ever
I purchased this 1st generation remote with a full understanding that it was not new and may have cosmetic signs of wear. When I received it, it appeared to be new and it functioned perfectly when I first used it. I have another remote that is relatively new for a Fire TV Lite. In comparing the remotes side-by-side, they appear identical but are quite different functionally. I have not experienced any problems with the remote in question and I expect that it will be useful for many years to come. The price of the remote saved me a significant amount of money compared to purchasing a brand new remote! Brand new product that did not work. Put in the batteries and the remote heated up so hot that it was too hot to hold in my hand. Needless to say it had no remote control capabilities whatsoever.

My old remote will not navigate to the right making it unusable and it just suddenly after a while scrolls to the right by its self super fast. Got the new remote and now it fast fowards every movie. I have tried every thing and now very upsetting. Looked it up and seems I am not the only one and there is no support because I spent several hours with a tech thats just offered me a Discount to buy a new one. Got 1 from you and same issues. Great replacement remote for Firestick. Had difficulty at first pairing, but after unplugging firestick and plugging back in, pairing was successful. Works as well as the original remote including voice feature

Prime video will not recognize the new remote to be added for pairing. I tried everything I could find online how to pair the new remote but it will not. Maybe I will have to reset prime video with factory reset resulting in losing all add-ons loaded on the fire stick. This makes my second remote and the first one paired right up with no problems.
