It did it's job
About a week after receiving my Bower 77mm filter my Nikkor 24-120mm f4 lens took about a 3 foot fall on the living room floor. The filter was shattered, but the lens sustained no damage. It did it's job.

You get what you pay for. It creates a ghosting effect when u spot the lens to a light source. That means a bad optics.
