Condition was as stated. Very good for an essentially 18 year old laptop. Windows XP boot was perfect. No prior owner legacy files detected at this time.
Battery actually holds a decent charge.
So, I tested it by doing an install of an abandoned software Dell Axim handheld computer "Active sync". Perfect!
