This DVD player can play DVD, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, VCD, HDCD, DVD-Audio, picture CD, MP3, and JPEG files and discs. The Curtis DVD1046 also works with PAL and NTSC formats. The progressive scan feature on this Curtis DVD player ensures that the picture produced by this player is high quality and free of distortion. Connectivity is not an issue with this Curtis DVD player since it has three component hook ups, one digital audio coaxial connection, and an S-Video connection. This DVD player can be controlled via the buttons on the unit itself or via the wireless remote control.
