It seems okay, but I was on the NJ parkway, and came around a bend in the road, and low and behold, there was a state trooper sitting right there with his radar aimed right at me as I came around the bend. The detector started the alarm as he hit me with the gun. NO PRIOR WARNING. And when it does start beeping, it is loud then goes real low, to almost a humming. I am not sure what causes the XK band to always go off.

This thing works great and always gives me a good warning of any cops running radar ahead. It has some pretty cool features on it as well. I haven't had it very long so it hasn't actually saved me from any tickets but has definitely warned me a few times. I would recommend this product. It works good for the price. Unless you want to spend $400 on a valentine is get this one.

Great for a basic radar detector and emergency vehicle detector. Wide range. Doesn’t have a lot of interference, actually none that I’m aware of happening. If you want a reasonably priced detector without paying hundreds of dollars, this is a great option. Of course there are more advanced detectors, but be ready to pay more for minimal advanced features. Cobra is a top brand and always will be. This company is able to lower prices, because of the quantity sold. I’m actually going to purchase a similar one for my wife’s car. Recommended.

Great item and quality for the price!!! It has many great features. The only bad thing is that it does not have 360 degrees police radar detection. It said 360 detection but it is for other signals like emergency vehicles.
