    Like an old friend

    A few years ago I owned all of the XAs, but sold them while I needed some money. That ended up being not so smart of course. But instead of buying all of them again I figured I would find my favorite, and I did. I just always loved the ease of the zone focus. So yes. I got it back again and everything is in working order. I'm in the process of exposing a roll of film so we will see how the photos look soon. Thanks

    It's Not a Point and Shoot

    Olympus XA is an aperture priority rangefinder. It's ultra compact optical design easily matches sharpness of my Minolta Hi-Matic 7sII, 40mm/f1.7 Rokkor, from the same era. It's easily pocketable like a Canon Powershot S110. Amazing little camera.

    Flawless

    No light leaks, shutter speeds work fine, cosmetically; wasn't mentioned it used to be housed with a smoker unprotected, but still is flawless besides the yellow lettering. Overall satisfied it's exactly what i wanted.

    One of the all time greats. If I had only one camera (in the days of emulsion film) this might be my first pick

    The XA is hands down one of the greatest cameras of all time. I bought the nice model when they first came out. I love my Nikons but the XA was so compact it always with me. The XA belongs in the camera hall of fame.
