Fun to play but...
This is my first PRS. I got it because my les Paul was getting way too heavy and hurting my shoulder. This guitar is super light, gorgeous and fun to play. Due to the tremolo, however it does go out of tune much quicker than I would like. Then again, whammy bars are lots of fun. The action is a little too low and there is buzz on the low e string, but it wasn't purchased brand new, so I'm not complaining. other than that, it sounds incredibly clean with hardly any unwanted feedback. Still packs a punch when needed. Jumping from a 22 to 24 fret scale surprisingly feels natural, and for someone used to a narrow neck, this wide neck is also still very comfortable. And did I mention it's gorgeous? I never get sick of the orange and bird inlays. Just wish it wasn't a glossy neck. This is my first PRS. Fun affordability.
A little smaller than I was used to but that aspect quickly disappeared after playing it awhile. I just play in my room in my apartment so I have a small desktop amp ( Yamaha TH10) so I can't tell these pick ups from Seymour Duncan's. Great action and play ability. Quality craftsmanship even if not made in the US. You won't feel cheated by buying a PRS.
