Camera was brand dew as described. Great price! My issue came with the shipping process. It shipped out fast but the seller requires an in person signature. They will not allow for pickup at a local shipping store and won't reroute to a different address. I had to take a day off work to wait for the package. It also delayed me getting the camera by about 5 days. For that reason I won't do business with the seller again.

    Fantastic For the price

    Super zoom compact cameras have come a long way. I purchased this for my granddaughter who at a young age is interested in video production and the smartphone is no longer good enough. As a former professional now a avid hobbyist I use high end DSLR cameras but was very satisfied with the overall build and image quality. It had some difficulty staying in focus when zoomed to long telephoto length , it tended to hunt .But this is not a fair comparison because to get lock on focus, you are looking at paying 10 x the price. It compares favorably with similar cameras in this price range. Still photos are also on par with the competition. A real plus is the use of AAA batteries and overall simplicity of operation. I would recommend this camera as a step up from a camera phone or point & ...

    Beautiful pictures

    The camera is very cool like it’s name “COOLPIX” but Is very difficult to take pictures without a visor specially in daylight in a very sunny day you cannot see very well in the screen display the picture you want to take. But overall it takes beautiful pictures

    Nikon Coolpix B500 Digital Camera

    This is a very nice compact SDXC (Secure Digital eXtended Capacity) camera. It is small, light weight and has a host of features lacking in its competition. It runs on 4 AA batteries and can take upwards of 400 pictures on a set of new ones. However, it will also take rechargeable batteries so locating replacements is not necessary with a charger. I keep 8 rechargeable batteries on hand so I can always have a fresh set available and I never have to stop shooting to recharge. Overall, this is a great setup for travel and other casual shooting. I highly recommend this camera.

    Love the bluetooth feature

    I can't figure out how to make it completely shut off sometimes and I fee like it's running the batteries down. I don't think it's as good as my coolpix L120 was, but I like the fact that I transfer my pictures from the camera to my phone through bluetooth.
