I had a question regarding the lightmeter, and they responded promptly- the next business day. Then I purchased the camera and they shipped it out the same day. The product arrived sooner than expected and was well-packaged. The physical condition of the camera is as pictured. I have yet to test the light meter functionality because I need to get a battery; however, everything appears to be in good shape. I 've bought from KEH Outlet before, and always had good service.

Item as described. Item very well packed! Shipping costs and time were reasonable. 3 of the straps were not of the "model" indicated, but they are functioning Canon camera straps. I'm a repeat buyer. This seller is one of my favorite sellers.

A solid zoom lens at a very useful focal length

The image quality is amazing and the focal length is very useful. At 28mm, it is very wide on a full frame camera and at the maximum 75mmit is a pretty decent telephoto range. The biggest con is that the focus motor is pretty loud ruining videos but it does focus fast. And there is a bit of lens flare in bright sunny days when I'm shooting into the sun so I make sure I bring along a polarizer filter. The lens look nice and feels really solid and is not too heavy at 1.3 pounds. There is room for improvement but overall I am very happy with the lens and would recommend it especially for the price.

  • cheap alternative to nikons version

before all else, this is not a nikon lens. because it is not a nikon lens, you wont that perfect sharpness... this lens is a great budget alternative to the nikon version and it wont be noticeably different on an 8x10 print. Things I like: -Cheap -Good optic quality -semi heavy (not super heavy like the nikon, but not cheap and plasicy like a kit lens -Constant 2.8 aperture -Fast, consistant focusing accuracy and speed -Does not change size when focusing (asphirical) Things that I am not fond of: -Not the best lens quality out there... but not bad by any means -Plastic lens barrel -At the wide angle on the FF(full frame) D700 it vignettes a little in corners -Changes total size when zooming in and out which is typical for this price range over all this is one of my favorite lenses. I ...

  • Sharp when stopped down

It struggles to find really sharp focus in low light at f2.8 but when more light is available and stopped to down to f4 or more it is really good. It may just be the copy I have because I have seen others get really good results at f2.8. Overall it is a decent upgrade from a kit lens even for an APC sized sensor although it is not wide at all on an APC sensor. Works well on a full frame and better if used on a tripod to get slower shutter speeds in lower light.

  • sharp, fast general purspose lens superior to OEM kit

This is an excellent general purpose lens that I am now using as my base lens for most general applications. Opening to f2.8 across the entire zoom range was the biggest selling point to me as it is much faster, and appears sharper, compared to the Sony kit lens that came with my camera. I like to shoot a lot of people/portrait shots so the upper end of the zoom range works well for that application. I appreciate the zoom lock to prevent creep while carrying the lens. I do wish this lens covered a little more of the wide angle range, down to 18mm like the Sony DT1870, but I accepted the trade-off to get a faster lens.

  • Great All Purpose Lens

I am using my Tamron 28-75 F2.8 on 2 cameras, an aps-c Nikon D7500 and a Micro 4/3 Panasonic GX9. It takes sharp pictures wide open and at all focal lengths. I got it to use for photographing dance contests where the light is bright, but not like sunlight. So, high shutter speeds and a wide aperture are needed to freeze motion without too much noise. Set at 75mm and F2.8, the lens did what I needed. The lens is heavy, but easy to use on the D7500. Its a little unwildy on the GX9 without an accessory grip.
