If you like to watch videos when you are on the road. This portable dvd player is cheaper than buying a laptop and much cooler. For about 80 bucks you can watch your dvd's on the go. It has a loud speaker so you don't need headphones to watch your movies, and tv shows. It has a headphone jack so you can use headphones so you wont disturb anyone around you. The dvd player also has a usb slot and other functions. The battery lasts about 5 hours. It is light weight. That makes it easy to carry. Its own speakers. Easy to use with or without remote. Battery does not work
I had charged the DVD player for one full day. My daughter opened up the gift and it wouldn't play. I had not tested it out the night before....:(. The only way to play the DVD player is by plugging it into the wall. Reviews say 5 hours on battery life....I got zero.

Hard to beat for the money
The unit has a lightweight cheapness feel to it and it is not real loud but other than that I doubt you can do better for the money. My kids love it on road trips and I use it when camping to kill time going to sleep. The volume is the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars. You have to watch it somewhere quiet.

I still can't get the remote control to work, not sure if it needs batteries or what but since I'm close to it, I pushed the buttons which take some real pushing not light to the touch. When you turn it off you can't just RESTART where you left off, you have to go back to the beginning, need to use scene search to go back where you were. There is a whirrling noise when DVD starts up. The volume is not very loud, I use some mini speakers for it to give it stereo sound. That's okay. It is light weight. You can carry on plane, car, train, or take in purse in case you want to watch a dvd while waiting on whatever. I actually like it. This is a great value for the money. It plays well, and most importantly, it has wonderful sound. I've used other small portable DVD players, and they all had noise in the headphones, but this one is quiet. The only downside is that it does not have a Last Memory function built-in the way some portable DVD players do. So, watching a movie and having to leave the house in the middle means that when you turn it off, and then when you come back to continue watching your movie, you have to start at the beginning of the movie and advance it over to where you want to begin the feature. This is annoying, but the picture quality and the sound quality make up for this annoyance. Just make sure you have enough time to watch your movie from beginning to end before you begin.This is a great value for the money. It plays well, and most importantly, it has wonderful sound.
