Nice feel, very solid build quality, bought it specifically for the big zoom, likes plenty of light, plenty of settings and takes good pictures throughout the focal length. I dont use it indoors, as I said, I just wanted the lens, so I cant comment. Not a DSLR, but nowhere near the price, I like it.

The best thing about this camera is the superb lens which zooms to 30X magnication from a pretty wide angle to a long telephoto. It has many modes of operation from full manual to automatic mode selection. The screen is large and bright and swivels to pretty much where-ever you want it. The menu system is easy to use and doesn't involve too many key presses even for the more obscure functions.
The camera has a hot-shoe flash connection so you can choose between the built-in flash or add-on equipment.
The camera weighs a lot less than I expected. Even with batteries, it weighs less than my old Canon AE1 SLR that was one of the lightest 35MM SLRs.
It takes standard AA-size batteries (4) and can be programmed according to which battery technology you use so that battery charge indication works well.
So what's to dislike? Not much, really. I do find sometimes that manual focusing is made a little clumsy by the flash housing that remains down unless you are using it. This blocks wide angular movement of the focus ring so you have to make more than one short movement in some cases.
Also, it would have been nice if they could have designed it to have one-touch zoom-and-focus as some 35mm SLR zooms were made with. But perhaps that's too difficult on super-zooms since I've not seen one on any make.
Overall, this is a great camera if you don't need the ultimate flexibility of a DSLR and don't want the clutter of extra lenses and peripherals that a DSLR requires. It also coats a fraction of the price of a DSLR.
The best bridge camera for price, versatility and picture quality

The zoom capability is extraordinary covering focal lengths from 28 to 720mm. It can be used in the straight forward point and shoot mode or through a range of options to full manual control.
The photos are crisp and the colour is excellent. Because of all its facilities and its relative complexity, this is not really a camera for a novice. I have used Fuji cameras for many years and so knew many of the features this camera would have. If you are just looking for a point and shoot camera then this probably isn't the one you want. If you want total vesatility and are happy using a tripod with higher focal lengths, then this camera is second to none at the price. It is now replaced by the HS20 which has an even higher spec. However, value for money the HS10 is better if you can find one

What I really like about this camera is the zoom feature and the fact that it record video in full HD, I pluged in a 32 GB memory card that works great. Sometimes I find it hard to take a clear picture at night it can't focus easyly on the people face at 4-5m away.
Brilliant camera if you want to move up to the next level of photography.

Although its heavier than my previous camera it's so worth it for the better quality pics. I use it to take close up shots of my craft and art work and my husband uses it for distance shots of nature and wildlife. We both get excellent pics of these subject so I'm extremely pleased with it. It's easy to use although we are still getting used to all the things it can do but takes brilliant pics on the automatic settings. I would certainly recommend it to anyone.
