    i think everyone loves this!

i had this dvd when it was first released. I recall everyone looking for it at the stores and i purchased the last one at that time. I gave it to several of my friends but unfort. one of my friends didn't bring it back, i wanted to watch it again, so i went out and purchased it again, and needless to say, no one will be borrowing this one. It sits on my collecitons of dvds on a shelf and that is where it will stay. I would recommend this movie to anyone. People think it is a chick flick, well i know several men that watched this also and they loved it too.

  • A Long Distance Love Story

Savannah (Amanda Seyfried) meets John (Channing Tatum) while on spring break (he is on leave from overseas) the two hit is off and fall in love. He promises to write to her and she to him and the letter they write to each other make up this story. For the next 7 years the keep in touch and share their feelings (good and bad) through their letters. This is an adaptation from the book by Nicolas Sparks and is pretty true to the book. It is well written and well acted. It has good moments and some not so good moments but overall it was a very entertaining story. Also starring in this movie are: D.J. Cotrona, Henry Thomas, and Richard Jenkins Watch this movie with someone you love and bring plenty of tissues

  • See You Soon--Tell Me Everything!

This 2010 movie, adapted from the very popular novel by Nicholas Sparks, starts out predictably but then takes several twists and turns. U S Special Forces Sergeant John Tyree (Channing Tatum, who later starred in Magic Mike) meets Savannah Curtis (Amanda Seyfried of Mamma Mia and Letters to Juliet) when her purse accidentally falls in the ocean at Charleston, South Carolina, and John jumps off a pier to retrieve it. Savannah already has a boyfriend, but now it is love at first sight for John and her. The main problem: he is on leave from special assignment and she is a student at University of North Carolina. The two arrange to send letters to each other in which they will tell EVERYTHING. Also they each proclaim I'll see you soon! From here, the story deviates from ...

  • Another Nicholas Sparks Love Story

This is a love story that only Nicholas Sparks can convey. It makes you laugh at times but cry at other times, You can feel the pull between the two main characters but let the war separate them. I won't give any more of the story line away, but you need to see this movie to appreciate it,

  • Nice (but not stunning) Military Love Story

This is a fairly good movie--Tatum is an easy-to-love hero and carries the movie. Overall (with the exception of one bedroom scene) it is a squeaky clean and wholesome movie. BUT, I likely will not watch it again. The ending was a bit disappointing to me; must the competition always die in these movies? And she marries the other guy because he's sick?!? How SICK is that? Just a little bit of a strange plot, I thought. The part dealing with the guy's relationship with his dad was a sweet sub-plot that ended well.
