A very durable, good quality camcorder. Worth the low price.
This is a very durable, good quality, cheap camcorder. Being that it is a bit of an older model, it is rather large, but is very well built and is durable. Another down side of its age is that it uses mini DVD's, which are a bit expensive and not very compatible with editing software (the video files are VOB format). However, this camcorder is extremely good for the price. The zoom (especially optical) is very good, and though the quality of the digital zoom isn't great, it is very, very extensive. The videos it produces are nice, and the audio is fairly good. The only problem with the video is that when the disc is finalized, it cuts off the last bit of video when you view it as a VOB file. Nice features and easy to use. This camcorder, even if it gets beat up, can last a long ... This is a very durable, good quality, cheap camcorder.
