A+ seller who stands behind what they sell. Great communication and quick to answer questions even about a problem. I ordered a printer cartridge. Item was shipped promptly and factory sealed as described. However, through no fault of the seller, it was a “lemon” printer cartridge and the ink was printing blurry and faint. I reached out to the seller. They responded immediately and promptly provided a refund. I can’t say enough about what a positive eBay experience that was!

    Great boxed sets

I don't have HBO so my sister and I have been watching True Blood via buying each season on DVD. I got season 1-3 all used, so these were a great price considering they're essentially brand new. I really love the folding display that holds the 5 discs—they really are high quality boxed sets. One of them actually came with a bonus extra disc, which came in a separate paper pocket on the insert that comes packaged on the back with the season description. We're halfway through season 4 right now, and I've been liking the show more and more each season so far.

  • A great, exciting season

What can I say? Most all of us have seen it at least once. It's great even after the first time seeing it. I still enjoy it but I love the all of actors and the storyline. If you haven't seen it, buy it. You won't regret it.

  • Not as good as season one

While this is still an excellent adaptation of Harris' novels this season lacked in comparison to season one. It seemed Ball wrote himself into a corner with Maryanne that he just couldn't escape from. I would have love to see the development more of the vamps and Godric than the Maryann plot which went on and on with no clear ending until Ball just finally killed the characters introduced with that storyline. It seems Ball forgot why the fans love True Blood. He missed the boat with so little devoted to Godric and Allan Hyde's amazing performance as the character. Instead we got endless scenes from soap actress Ashley Jones whose accent and performance was flat and uninspiring. As a fan of the books I don't mind the diversions from Harris' cannon however ...

While this is still a very good show, it's already come dangerously close to jumping the shark (jumping the Sook?), in just it's second season. I wanted to give it 3 1/2 stars but that's not possible here. I just couldn't bring myself to give it four, so I went with three. For starters, the show has veered much too far off on a tangent concerning the Maenad Maryann, and many, many viewers have been frustrated by it. Too little time was spent on the vampires of Dallas, which I found to be far more interesting. Too much attention was also spent on the Jason/Fellowship of the Sun arc, which was a deviation from the book series. All in all, there was too much "filler" to get to the good stuff. The penultimate episode (#11, "Frenzy") was a disconcerted illogical mess with few highlights, and ...

  • dvd - true blood season 2

i read all of the books prior to the series & continue to keep up with any new additions. thoroughly enjoyed the books. the tv version is maybe 30% true to the books as far as plots are concerned. transition from book to screen is never easy, but the screen version is enjoyable. would not recommend it for kids (way too much sex, blood & ugly language). i am a fan of the paranormal (vampires, ghosts & things that go bump in the night). so if the paranormal is enjoyable to you then this is a must see series. characters range from vampires to werewolves to witches to fairies to shapeshifters!!
