Handy, accurate in/out thermometer
I bought this to replace another in/out unit from Lacrosse. I wasn't expecting much, but i was happy to find that it is a very good unit. So far, it has been working well with no problems. I would recommend this over similar units from Lacrosse.

Great Item - accurate.
Love this thermometer. Originally received from my sister but the transponder died after a few years. This item was a great deal and I ordered the exact same one I had before. Even the indoor unit from my old one works with this transponder so I have one in my living room and in my kitchen.

This is an excelent low price outside thermometer.
This thermometer cost less than just the outside sensor of an atomic clock we have. I appreciate the small size since we kept the old unit on display. This unit is also very stable without some extra way to prop it up. If you like such things it has the min/max outside temperature for the day. I record the min/max each night and reset it then.

GREAT INDOOR/OUTDOOR TEMP MONITOR w/CLOCK
I bought this as a replacement for another Acurite in/out temperature monitor with a clock that we'd had for many years (at least 10) that finally kicked the bucket (electronics just stopped working right). We hang it in our garage to monitor both garage and outside temps - especially in winter. The included clock is handy, as we keep the unit by the workbench. The outdoor sending unit is sturdy and hangs up using a small screw (not provided) and the receiver for it on the back (you could put a large sturdy hook thru the hang-loop at the top if you wanted). Instructions recommend using Lithium batteries outside if you live in a cold-winter area as we do. The only negative I have to share about it is that the outdoor sending unit does not have a window on it to show the outdoor ...
