Works great burning M DISC's DVDR. If you have data to archive burn them on a MDISC. Any DVD player will read read an MDISC. Only a DVD drive like this one that specifically branded for MDISC has a laser that is strong enough to write them. No special software is needed the drive knows when you have inserted MDISC. MDISCs with reasonable storage will last a lifetime unlike a regular DVD or Flash drive whose storage life averages about 5 years.This Drive requires that you know how to add a Drive.

Ordered two got them in and one was bad. Got a replacement in. Both shipments were two day late getting to me. Don't think it's AMG'S Electronics fault. Seems the USPS sucks at getting thing where they are going on time. Nice drive at a great price.
